Cutter

Media pressure arm

The two installed pressure arms can be moved to match the width of the media. Pinch rollers and grit rollers on the pressure arms firmly hold the media in place.

Cutting mat

Dedicated mat installed on the platen in the area where cutting is performed.
This is a consumable item that can be replaced if damaged.

Newly developed
cutting function

Supports both “contour-cut” and “through-cut” cutting types. The former cuts through the media leaving the release liner layer intact, while the latter one cuts all the way through the release liner while leaving connecting seams.

Cut quality settings

You can select between three types of cut quality settings for curved lines. Choose based on the balance between quality and speed according to the level of curvature of the cut data or the intended use.

MUTOH genuine ink

This genuine ink is exclusive to MUTOH’s eco-solvent printers. It has a wide color gamut, high-quality printing capabilities, as well as excellent weather, abrasion, and chemical resistance. It doesn’t easily clog the nozzles and is low-maintenance. Moreover, VJ-MS31 is ”GREENGUARD Gold” certified and suitable for use in indoor applications.
